Our Next Exhibition - Thomas Demand and Decolonizing Architecture 28 Jan 2012 - 15 Apr 2012

Our programme for schools and colleges provides exciting opportunities for children, young people and teachers to engage with international art in our galleries.

This season discover themes within the exhibition of citizenship & community, debating and creating new worlds. Examine the colour and texture of Thomas Demands beautifully composed photographs of architects models and ask, can Architecture really help us aspire to a better future? DAAR’s work imagines the future “decolonisation” of Palestine by inventing new uses for oppressive buildings and infrastructure. Debate ideas of citizenship, community & nationhood in a section of the abandoned Palestinian parliament building.

Try out one of our Workshops with Artists, join our informal Planning Sessions or find out about taking part in an inSET session for teachers.

Please contact helen@nottinghamcontemporary.org for information about the schools programme.
