The architectural model gained new prominence in the early 20th century, when it became a popular tool for design education, playing a key role in the Modernist image. Deriu is Research Fellow in Architecture at the University of Westminster and Curator of Modernism in Miniature: Points of View at the Canadian Centre for Architecture.
